Happy Holidays!!

It doesn't seem possible that it's December!  Ever since the birth of my children I've noticed that life just started to fly right by.  I look at them and can't believe how big they've grown.  I'm a very proud Momma I must say.  All 3 children are doing so well in school, and are growing into very fascinating distinctive personalities.  It's such a joy being a Mom.  I always knew I'd love it, but I don't think I realized just how profound it would be for me.  I have learned many new things about myself on this journey, and they continue to teach me new and wonderful things every single day.  They are 9, 7 and 5 and they are so fun to watch during the holidays.  The excitement and wonder they have is so cute.  My oldest son, the 9 year old, is starting to question the "Santa" idea.  He's being so cute about it though, and will only talk to me about it when his sister and brother are not around us.  He's looking out so as not to ruin any Christmas magic for them.  I didn't tell him that Santa is Mommy and Daddy.  I just played along with his questions, and figured he'll know soon enough on his own anyway, so why not enjoy the innocence a little longer.  I just love the excitement, and the prospect of the magic that they believe in.  It's a beautiful thing to get to witness.

I've been making some new siggies, and designs lately, and wanted to bring you all a holiday treat!!  One of my favorite things in design is finding new fonts, and pretty alphas.  They can really make a piece stand out, and can also change an entire layout of a piece.  It's fun to use different colors, and styles to see what you can create just by changing them.  One of my favorite times to be a siggy designer is during the holidays.  Christmas kits are so beautiful and full of magic.  The sparkle, and different color mixes just light me right up!  LOL I especially love the colors Red and White together, add alittle sparkle and glitter to that mix and it's just beautiful.  So with that said I have created a beautiful Red and White sparkle Alpha Set for you.  Below you will see the sample of them, they are saved in PNG form.  If you would like to have them just click on the sample tag (below) to download your free copies.  I also made a new template, which you can see below.  If you would like that click on the sample as well and download a copy.  You can also see my sample of what it can look like completed.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day Everyone!  My husband, is such a workaholic, it's very difficult to get him to take some time off to spend with us.  He's even mowing and weed wacking our lawn today rather then taking some time to rest.  LOL He just can't help himself it seems.  I think I have convinced him to take the afternoon off and do something fun with me and the children.  I've also planned a nice dinner for us, just in case he decides to sneak back to work!

Well my friends, I have been trying out some new things with Photoshop... I've been using PSE7 for about 4 years now, fastly approaching 5 years, and I'm actually still learning to do things!! I think that there will always be something new to learn.  Anyway, templates is something I NEVER could figure out.  How to use them, make them, anything to do with them.  It always bothered me, because I really like them.  I have always wanted to do them.  So I finally said that I was going to work on one, and keep trying until I had them figured out!  Once I began I was hooked! Now I can't stop wanting to make new templates, and am continuing to think of new ideas to make new ones with!!

So I have decided to give you all my first 2 that I made.  I've also made some samples so show you  what they look like in use.  It is my great hope that once you download and use the templates that you would be so kind as to send me what you've created so that I can post them here!! That would be so awesome and I really hope you'll all consider doing that!! It would mean so much to me!

My creations....

Hello! I thought I'd start my new blog off with a little intro about myself, and my favorite hobby.  Siggy making!! I started making siggies about 4 years ago, when I happend upon a group on the web called Cafemom.  Cafemom is basically a "myspace" for mothers.  It was the perfect fit for me, and I've really enjoyed my experience there from the start.  I was in one of my groups one day and noticed all these fancy graphics in the other members posts.  I had never seen them before, which is not all that surprising considering I'd never been in any web oriented group of any sort.  So I began looking into them, and to my surprise and delight discovered siggies!! Well I couldn't just look at them, I needed more!! After some research I discovered that I had already had one of the programs that many women designed their siggies with.  Photoshop.  I had photoshop because I have always been into photography and photo editing.  Since having my children my photography went wild, and I was constantly editing and making something with my pictures.  Anyway, long story short, I started delving into siggy making.  To say that my first attempt at a siggy was horrendous would be a great understatement!! LOL It took many, many attempts and mistakes to hone my skills.  Over the last 4 years I acquired my own style, and from there started to find interest in Digital Scrap booking Kits.  The kits is a new experience for me, and to date my only experience with making them has been for myself, and just playing so to speak.  I do one day however, want to be designing kits on a more permanent basis.  But for now, it's just an added hobby and something I do for fun.

I have been working on a new style for my siggies lately, and have been having a ton of fun with it.  I just adore the new spring kits that are out now.  Some of my favorite kits to date, are ones that have been released in the last month.  One of my favorite designers is NLD Designs at After Five Designs.

Below are some of my recent favorite kits, that I'm super excited about.  As I continue tweaking my blog, and adding new items I will also be adding some links on the side bar to some of my favorite digital scrap book stores, as well as some of my favorite designers, and bloggers.
I hope you enjoy looking at my samples of siggies below. I look forward to showing you some more in the near future. I have a lot of fun ideas I want to share with you all, as well as sharing some gifts over the next few weeks!  With all those plans I better get to it huh! LOL
Hugs and Love!! ♥

Thanks for checking out my designs! See you again soon!!! Fooferann
